You're Invited: UCHS Annual Awards
We're Back in Person! Please join UCHS to honor neighbors who have recently improved the historic fabric of our incredible West Philadelphia communities. Showcasing a new format, this year's event will be held at Tabernacle United Church, 3700 Chestnut Street, a West Philadelphia landmark designed by renowned Philadelphia architect, Theophilus P. Chandler. Chandler was founder and head of the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Architecture. A spectacular grouping of awards will be bestowed in our Gift to the Street, Outstanding Preservation, and Mike Hardy Preservation categories. UCHS will also celebrate our recent achievements. Refreshments will be served.
When: Sunday, February 19, 2023, 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM Where: Tabernacle United Church, 3700 Chestnut
Additional Information: This members-only event will take place in the Community Room of Tabernacle United Church. Enter via 37th Street. Awards will be conferred at 4:30pm, with a celebration to follow. Attendees will be invited to see the chapel and incredible stained glass of this circa 1884 West Philadelphia landmark.
