Centennial Grounds Tour (Saturday, September 26, 2026)

Revisit the Centennial Exposition! Join us in a walking tour of the Centennial Exposition grounds, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the moment when West Philadelphia became the center of the world. The tour will transport us to 1876 and recall the sights and sounds experienced by the more than 20% of American citizens who made the trek to attend. Using historic images, we'll retrace the steps that tour-goers would have made during their visit. Tour highlights include a special tour of Memorial Hall, fun facts, Centennial treats, and an inside look at a remarkably restored Parkside Victorian home.
